No:36 Upton ParkNow known as Skellig previously Fox Covet when built in 1974.
For early history of the plot & its development
Built as a self build by former Chester City footballer and plumber
by trade Norman F Bullock of Laverstock (no:14)
Norman recalls paying what he believed to be a local record price for the building plot - some £9000. He then built the house with front elevation as it is today. They named the new house Fox Covet. Now launching into his own building business; Norman sold in 1976 to Mr & Mrs Bowitz -a German helicopter pilot and his English wife. They renamed the house as Skellig. Later the house became the home of the Ken & Isobel Curry and family until the late 1990s. |
